Research papers are welcome for Volume 2 Issue 1 (May 2014) based on the theme of "Water for Food".The submission deadline for abstract is 30 Dec 2013.

"Future of Food: Journal on Food, Agriculture and Society" is published by the Department of Organic Food Quality and Food Culture at the University of Kassel, Germany and the Federation of German Scientists (VDW) present a peer reviewed journal for young scholars and researchers.

About the Journal

The aims of the journal are to create a platform for young scholars, researchers, post graduate students, doctoral students and post doctoral fellows who are interested in food related themes to deliberate their research experiences through research paper articles. As a multi-disciplinary journal, natural scientists and social scientists from all around the world are welcome to engage in this forum as contributors.

Urban Nexus Policy Development Workshop // Applying the Urban Nexus Concept to Implementing Global Agendas

The GIZ “Integrated Resource Management in Asian Cities: The Urban Nexus” project conducted an interactive workshop on Urban Nexus policy development in Bangkok, Thailand with participants from India, Indonesia, Mongolia and Vietnam. The Urban Nexus approach was recognized as a tool to deliver on global agendas such as the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Climate Agreement.
