Workshop // The Seventh International Workshop on Hydro-Hegemony

Analysis of transboundary water interaction will be deepened by exploring the manner and extent to which 'negative' hegemonic transboundary water arrangements are contested, and even countered. All are welcome at UEA London (102 Middlesex St; London E1 7EZ) on the weekend of 10-11 May 2014 to openly, critically, and creatively question how destructive transboundary water interaction and constrictive dominant water ideas are contested. The workshop will bring together speakers and panels on counter-hegemonic activism, the hydro cycle and water science, dams and hydro mega projects, conflict and cooperation - and includes a side event on Friday 9 May to launch the the Corporate Water Research Network.
