COP31 will bring together global stakeholders in Antalya, Türkiye, to accelerate climate action and advance practical solutions across mitigation, adaptation, resilience and sustainable development.
About COP31
COP31 is the 31st Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC and will be hosted by Türkiye in Antalya from 9 to 20 November 2026. Building on the foundations of previous COPs — in particular COP30 in Belém — COP31 aims to advance dialogue, strengthen consensus and accelerate implementation.
As the host country, Türkiye will work together with the Parties and stakeholders around the world to contribute constructively to the global climate agenda. Türkiye's COP31 Presidency has been entrusted to Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change, by presidential circular.

Programme
COP31 will bring together the formal negotiations under the UNFCCC, the Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement, alongside a high-level segment and a Leaders’ Summit. Further events and activities will provide opportunities for governments, international organisations, civil society, academia, the private sector and other stakeholders to contribute to the global climate dialogue.

Participation and Registration
Participation in the official COP31 conference is subject to UNFCCC accreditation and registration requirements. Eligible Parties, observer States, UN organisations, intergovernmental organisations and admitted observer organisations can register delegates through the UNFCCC registration system.
