Offer description

• With reference to Horizon 2020 REXUS project collection and review of scientific and technical literature on socioeconomic assessment of ecosystem services within the framework of the water-energy-food nexus.
• Identification of a set of indicators to be tested in identified pilot areas with the aim to allow an economic assessment of relevant ecosystem services as well as an analysis/mapping of their beneficiaries and possible synergies/trade-offs among different uses.
• Policy analysis and review of governance mechanisms aimed to support the implementation of nature-based solutions to improve the supply of ecosystem services.
• Cooperation in the identification of possible business models useful to ensure the financial sustainability of identified solutions.
• Participation and support to other project tasks.
• Contribution to the development of technical reports, networking with project partners and participation in project meetings.

Selection process

The selection takes place through the evaluation of the titles, scientific and professional CV, academic/scientific publications and an interview.

The applications will be valued by a referee committee, designed by the Director of the structure and composed of three members belonging to the scientific area of the research project, one of them is the scientific responsible for the scientific project.
