Task Force on the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems Nexus

The Task Force is charged with the overview and guidance of the assessment of the nexus in selected transboundary basins, carried out under the Water Convention.

This third meeting of the Task Force will (i) provide an overview of the status of preparations of assessments, (ii) discuss the findings and the experience from the basin assessments, (iii) review the draft contents of the overall stocktaking report of the nexus assessment, (iv) agree on the steps to complete the presentation of findings for publication and (v) discuss possible follow-up activities for the Convention's programme of work 2016—2018.
