Session at DNC 2017 // New and refined approaches supporting the implementation of a Nexus Approach
The need for and the (potential) benefits of implementing integrated resources management seems rather straightforward from a scientific perspective, but implementation remains challenging. Among the many aspects of this science-policy divide, this session will particularly consider approaches and platforms for stakeholder involvement, including ICT and visualization tools, but also governance arrangements.
Objectives and expected outcome
The session aims at: (1) defining data and data gaps in the resources nexus in support of integrative modeling tools, (2) showcase and explore models and model structure to help understand the interlinkages between environmental resources.Target audience
