The threats arising from the increasing demand for natural resources are a major topic on the global agenda. How can foreign policy makers help to face this challenge and encourage improved cooperation and effective institutional solutions? The report identifies aspects of the resource nexus of land, energy, food, water and minerals and elaborates on risks and opportunities that will arise for the transatlantic community from the nexus. The presentation will be opened by Emily Haber, State Secretary of the Federal Foreign Office.
