Planetary Security Conference 2017 // Water-Energy-Food Security in the MENA Region (C1)
How do you manage critical resources in a region facing heightened tensions, long-term conflict and climate change impacts? This event will explore this question by bringing together and encouraging dialogue between experts and policy makers from the Middle East and North Africa.
Objectives
- To identify avenues for cooperation on Water – Energy – Food Security issues within a nexus approach on a national and a regional scale – specifically the MENA region
- To advance policy dialogue on actuating cooperation on issues of Water – Energy – Food Security Nexus in countries of the Levant region on both national and regional levels
- To exchange ideas and lessons learned with other policy makers from around the world
