Catawba-Wateree River Basin // Water-Energy-Food Nexus Community Discussion

The Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation strives to ensure clean, plentiful and affordable water for future generations in the Catawba River Basin. This event will be dealing with the Water-Energy-Food Nexus with a special focus on water quality.

Programme

After a presentation, we’ll break out into small groups for discussion on how this topic relates to:

real estate and business;
fish and wildlife;
science and medicine;
agriculture and health; and
policy, advocacy, and awareness.

The program will conclude with community-based action items and discussion about how citizens can improve water quality. The event is open to everyone who is interested from business leaders to concerned citizens to the sustainable farming community.
