About the webinar series

The first module of the webinar series on ‘Water Governance Analysis for Transformational Change’ was held from 7 November to 21 December 2022. It started with a general introduction into the FAO Water Governance analysis methodological framework and how it was applied in Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia. The six weekly webinars focussed on each of the five countries with two sessions dedicated to Morocco. This Module was organised under the WEPS-NENA project funded by SIDA.

The second module Going global - Key water governance priorities and insights for the future will start on 18 January 2023. it aims at opening the scope of water governance to other regions and networks to understand some of the dynamics at the global level and reflect on the way forward to strengthen water governance for people, the planet and prosperity.
This module will have a more global perspective with examples of water governance analyses from Europe, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean, hence broadening the scope of the use of water governance analysis and looking at other methodologies and experiences.
