Lecture // Water for Food, Water for Life

This lecture on the water-food nexus is part of the lecture series (Ringvorlesung) "Inspired by Model UN: Sustainable Development, Food Security and Humanitarian Assistance". Its aim is to convey a critical perspective on current global issues concerning hunger, food security, climate change and natural resource issues.

Format

The participants are able to engage not only by listening to the lectures, but also by actively participating in the discussion. This lecture series is organized in the same format as the model-UN. During the lecture series, participants can join in the drafting process of the “Witzenhausen UN Charter” that will be officially presented to the UN Secretary General in March 2017. The organisers invite international and national speakers, local experts, activists, and practitioners as the guest lectures.
