5TOI_4EWAS // Brokerage Event

As part of 5TOI_4EWAS project aiming at supporting Innovation in the South Mediterranean countries, to build a bridge between innovation and policies to open new markets in the energy, agriculture and water management and support the players in those industries, the brokerage event will be organized on Thursday 26 January, 2017, at the Innovation days & Cocktail meeting at Casablanca, Morocco.

Networking MENA

The brokerage event activity will be organized to bring together key stakeholders and partners to exchange expertise, collaborate and share knowledge in the field of water, energy and agriculture focusing on novel technologies and innovations.

This activity’s aim is to:

strengthen ties between industry, research and academia through speed-dating activity
increase networking opportunities
ehnance technology transfer and exchange of expertise
foster activities and exchange between partners of consortium to create synergies among current initiatives and explore collaboration

The brokerage event activity targets key players from the water/agriculture/energy sectors in a focused exchange environment, including the following categories:

funding/investors
industrial players & engineers
tech donors
Academia
entrepreneurs/SMEs
chamber of commerce (public sector).

A hands-on document will be developed to summarize the created opportunities related to cooperation and knowledge transfer among EU-MPC, in order to establish long-term cooperation and boost partnerships to uptake research results (regarding innovative, water/energy/agriculture technologies) and consolidate future framework for cooperation by fostering a dialogue, especially with other members of the respective value chains. The event is part of the 5TOI_4EWAS project.
