The Dresden Nexus Conference 2027 invites researchers, policymakers, practitioners, UN agencies, civil society organisations and other stakeholders to submit abstracts for presentation at the conference.

The call for abstracts and session proposals is open from 15 October to 15 November 2026.
The call for abstracts and session proposals welcomes contributions that strengthen understanding and application of the Resource Nexus approach across different contexts, sectors and scales. Submissions should address one of the conference thematic areas outlined below.
- Global Nexus Case Studies: research and implementation experience from around the world
- Mediterranean Nexus Case Studies: water scarcity, coastal and marine resources, agri-food systems, and the source-to-sea continuum
- Advancing Nexus Concepts: definitions, data, methodologies, modelling and standardisation of the Nexus approach
- Nexus Governance and Policy: science-policy interfaces and institutions for integrated resource management
- Nexus Education and Capacity Development: teaching, training and curricula for the next generation of resource managements
