Workshop // Young Professionals Perspectives on the Water and Energy Nexus, Koblenz/Germany

#box:addon This is the follow up of a discussion started at the Bonn2011 Nexus Conference {http://www.water-energy-food.org/en/whats_the_nexus/bonn_nexus_conference/programme/view__50/young-scientists-workshop.html|Website of the 2011 Workshop} #box The workshop takes place following the Water, Food and Energy Nexus Conference held in Bonn in 2011, as well as the Rio +20 Conference. It aims at enabling young professionals to deal with the water, energy and food security nexus in order to develop a scientific view, methods and management approaches. As an outcome of the workshop, a declaration will be formulated on the issues that the participants deem most important with regard to sustainability and the long term prospects of the nexus. This meeting is another step towards promoting the involvement of young professionals in the discussion and development of water and energy related topics.
