Side Resilience under Climate Change - Perspectives for Water, Energy and Food Security
TICAD - the summit meeting on African development co-organized by the Government of Japan, UN, World Bank, UNDP and AUC and will will take place in Yokohama, Japan, from 1 to 3 June, 2013.
The objectives of TICAD are two-fold: 1) to promote high-level policy dialogue between African leaders and their partners; and 2) to mobilize support for African-owned development initiatives. These objectives are embodied in the concept of ownership and partnership.
During the Fifth Tokyo International Conference on African Development an official Side Event of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the German Agency for InteInternational Cooperation (GIZ) with the theme "Resilience under Climate change - Perspectives for Water, Energy and Food Security" is taking place.
