Kick Off Meeting // The Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiative (SUGI)
JPI Urban Europe and Belmont Forum invite all projects funded in the SUGI (Sustainable Urbanisation Global Initiatives) Food-Water-Energy Nexus call and representatives from involved funding agencies to a projects kick-off meeting in London on June 11 - 12, 2018.
The meeting provides an opportunity for the project partners to meet and to share knowledge, present results, engage in strategic discussions and to find partners for future cooperation. The aim is to provide useful information and to establish a strong community from the start.
The program strives for a high level of interaction mixing presentations with interaction in group discussions and workshops. The SUGI team will give important information on formal requirements and programme activities in the coming four years and respond to questions from the projects. All projects are invited to give short “pitches” in a cavalcade of projects.
Engage in in-depth discussions in workshops
Participants will have the opportunity to share insights and give feedback on each others’ projects in a poster session and to engage in content related in-depth discussions, to explore the links in ongoing projects and future cooperation as well as challenges and opportunities in international research cooperation. Projects are invited to share past experiences and to discuss leadership and communication strategies, mapping international networks and local stakeholder groups.
