Climate // Water – Food – Energy – Climate: Strengthening the Weak Links in the Nexus

By Ania Grobicki. The water and climate crisis we are facing requires a deeper analysis, which includes the “natural” Nexus. We need to be clear about the limits to human management of global systems, and find the weakest links. This may require a reframing of the issues away from the current economic focus on resource scarcity, towards adaptive societies and systems that help build sustainability through risk reduction and resilience. This article seeks to explore these issues.
