First Palestine International Water Forum 2018 // Integrated Water Resources Management: Best Practices and Technology Transfer
The focus of the First Palestine International Water Forum is to present real-world experiences in IWRM, to discuss "lessons learnt" and explore innovative perspectives beyond current IWRM practices. The Water-Energy-Food Nexus is one of the topics of the event.

Under the title “Best Practices and Technology Transfer”, the Scientific Committee is seeking contributions from the Arab Region and the international water community addressing the following conference topics:

- Climate Change and drought management
- Climate Change and drought management: challenges and solutions
- Disaster risk management as it relates to floods and droughts
- Hazardous Extreme weather events such as floods drought, etc
- Modelling of climate change impact on water resources
- Technologies for adaptation to climate change in the water sector and lessons learnt in adaptation
- Awareness on climate change
Call for Papers
Papers are to make an original and substantial contribution to the conference themes and topics covering different areas, methods, approaches and positions. Speakers who are interested in presenting a paper should submit an abstract for review. Abstracts will be selected by the Palestine International Water Forum’s Scientific Committee.
