Euro-Mediterranean Water Forum
The Euro-Mediterranean Water Forum is an international platform for dialogue among policymakers, civil society, academia, and businesses. It combines high-level discussions with an exhibition that highlights technological and process innovations in the water sector.
About the Euro-Mediterranean Water Forum
The Euro-Mediterranean Water Forum will bring together policymakers, civil society, academia, businesses, and technical experts in Rome for dialogue, collaboration, and an accompanying exhibition.
Organized by the “One Water” Committee with the Mediterranean Water Institute of Marseille and in partnership with the Union for the Mediterranean, the Forum will expand beyond the Mediterranean to include EU Member States, the Balkans, the Arabian Peninsula, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
The programme will address key water challenges, including drought, water scarcity, urban resilience, extreme weather events, water quality, the water-energy nexus, emerging industrial uses of water, and water-related financial and insurance solutions. Thousands of participants are expected to exchange knowledge, best practices, innovations, and technologies aimed at strengthening water security across the region.
