The WEFE4MED Nexus Awards

The principal aim of WEFE4MED is to promote a WEFE Nexus-oriented approach to sustainable development in the Mediterranean region. The goal is to increase the visibility of WEFE Nexus demonstrators in the Mediterranean and encourage new stakeholders to join the NCoP.

Who Can Apply

Eligible projects must:

Be based in at least 1 of the 20 states which are currently participating in PRIMA
Address at least three of the four WEFE components (Water, Energy, Food, Ecosystems)
have begun implementation

Timeline

Submission deadline: November 30, 2025
Evaluation period: December 1, 2025 – January 15, 2026
Award ceremony: Q1 2026
