In this video interview Mr. Taal underscores the major importance of water in terms of growth and development. By using the example of a dam he illustrates how the three components of the water, energy and food security nexus interrelate to each other. In view of the Bonn2011 Nexus Conference Mr. Taal stresses the active role of Africa concerning the development of new mindsets by addressing integrated nexus solutions in the context of the Green Economy and simultaneously foster economical development and reduce poverty.
