Registration is now open for ASIA 2023 – The Eighth International Conference and Exhibition in this regional series.
The Aqua~Media International team, with the support of the Malaysian Government, the Malaysian Committee on Large Dams, and the State Power utilities, welcomes the global water and energy community to the vibrant, multi-cultural city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for constructive discussions over two and a half days. The concurrent ASIA 2023 exhibition will showcase innovations in technology and design.
About the event
The mission of the conference is to bring together international experts from around 50 countries, to focus on aspects of specific relevance in the Asian region. Our latest brochure gives details of the topics to be covered and most of the accepted papers. A number of recent submissions will be added shortly, so it is important to check our website regularly for updates.
Asia continues to be the most active region of the world for hydropower and pumped-storage development, as well as water infrastructure and multipurpose dams. The conference sessions, open to all exhibitors as well as delegates, will inform all participants of potential and new development opportunities. Climate and environmental issues will also be important topics, as well as experience in tackling natural hazards such as earthquakes, landslides and floods. Safety, efficiency, economy and environmental protection will, as always, underpin discussions, which will be led by some of the world’s most eminent experts.
A major element of the ASIA 2023 event will be the Technical Exhibition, running for three days alongside the conference. The exhibition pavilions will be the main hub for business networking, between delegates and industry representatives who will be exhibiting their supplies and services. All lunch and refreshments will be served in the exhibition area to maximize networking opportunities.
