World Water Forum // Water-Food Nexus High Level Panel
This knowledgeable, high-level panel will deliver insights on the sustainable agricultural intensification of on existing land. Discussion topics will include: technologies that support increased agricultural productivity; best practices to promote efficient water use in agriculture and food production; managing water through the food chain, including preventing food loss and food waste; conflict resolution among multiple water users; using big data, spatial information and in-field sensors to optimize agricultural production; verticalization of production and water use in new agricultural development areas; water storage to improve availability for production and infrastructure financing to measure and manage surface and groundwater resources.
