Gregg joined the Pacific Institute in 2020. His work focuses on developing and scaling awareness and investment of nature-based solutions (NBS) by the private sector. This work includes the development and implementation of a standardized methodology to demonstrate stacked water and carbon co-benefits and maps wider co-benefits associated with NBS for watersheds around the world. Gregg has 15 years of experience in corporate sustainability, environmental conservation, economic water resilience, and stakeholder engagement. He has worked for NGOs, the public and private sectors, and in academia.

Carla is part of Danone’s Water Cycle Team, where she helps develop global Water Stewardship projects and to drive private sector implementation of nature-based solutions for addressing global water challenges. Her current support to Danone includes better Valuing Water in the decision making processes. She has previously worked in German public sector consulting to drive cities’ environmental and social improvement strategies through innovative solutions. Carla is convinced that securing water as a vital resource will require collective public and private actions – on a pre-competitive basis – both for adopting a global agenda on water and for scaling-up concrete actions in priority basins

Naabia focuses on developing and implementing the strategy for engaging companies to further TNC’s global water goals. This includes research on priority companies, recommendations on industries and companies to target, support of corporate engagement in TNC’s regional programs, and development of tools and resources to empower Conservancy staff to continue engage companies. Naabia also serves as the relationship manager for a few of TNC’s relationships with key Fortune 500 companies.
