Conference // 21st WaterNet/WARFSA/GWP-SA Symposium
Following 20 successful conferences, the 21st WaterNet/WARFSA/GWPSA Symposium will be held online, from 28th - 30th October 2020. The theme for this year is Integrated Water Resources Management for Sustainable Development in Eastern and Southern Africa.

About
The WaterNet/WARFSA/GWP-SA Symposia have been held annually in the Eastern and Southern African region for the past 20 years.
The Symposium promotes interaction among policymakers, academics, practitioners from water and related sectors, and cooperating partners. Together, they identify regional issues, gaps and priorities that require further research and support. Great emphasis will be placed on integration of knowledge, particularly involving scholars from the natural, medical and social sciences.
The 21st WaterNet/WARFSA/GWP-SA Symposium will be held in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe 28th – 30th October 2020 under the theme Integrated Water Resources Management for Sustainable Development in East and Southern Africa. The venue for the 21st Symposium is the Elephant Hills Resort. The National University of Science and Technology is the lead host of the 21st Symposium.

Objective of the session
This special session aims at introducing the WEF-Tools project, its approach, case studies, progress to date, and to solicit input from interested parties. This session will provide an opportunity for external stakeholders to meet and contribute to the project activities and for discussion around WEF-related issues in the SADC region.
