25 February 2021, 2.30-4.30pm CET
The purpose of this virtual workshop on 25 February 2021 at 2.30 CET is to provide insight into the preliminary findings of the forthcoming joint UNEP, GIZ, and WEF report on the State of Finance for Nature.
This is the second session in the dialogue series. The first session took place on 8 July 2020 to seek feedback from experts and relevant stakeholders through an inclusive process to frame the scope of NBS from a perspective of tracking public and private capital flows, and to form the backbone of the report, as well as providing an initial indication of the scale of public and private capital flows and compare that to how much is needed to meet internationally-agreed targets related to climate change, biodiversity and land degradation.
We are also opening a call to invite to share examples of investments in nature-based solutions that can be replicated or scaled-up. Read more
Open call for best practices: Please submit your solutions through the online form until 19 February 2021. Click here
