Hybrid Symposium // 22nd Symposium on Integrated Water Resources Management for Sustainable Development in Eastern and Southern Africa
The annual symposia is a platform for water professionals to share advances in research and education related to Integrated Water Resources Management. For all water sector professionals, policy-makers, and international cooperating partners the 22nd Symposium offers a platform to build partnerships and strengthen cooperation for Integrated Water Resources Management in Eastern and Southern Africa and beyond.

About the symposium
The 22nd WaterNet/WARFSA/GWP-SA Symposium will be held in Victoria Falls and virtually/online, Zimbabwe under the theme Integrated Water Resources Management for Sustainable Development in East and Southern Africa. The National University of Science and Technology is the lead host of the 22nd Symposium. The sub-themes of the symposium have been aligned to the themes of the SADC Water Research Agenda under the Regional Strategic Action Plan on Integrated Water Resources Development and Management Phase IV, whose main objective is to promote the evidence-based implementation of SADC water programmes and projects through multi- and inter-disciplinary research, and synthesis of existing and new information, which will lead to a realisation of SADC developmental goals.
