Planetary Security Conference 2017 // Water-Energy-Food Security in the MENA Region (C1)

How do you manage critical resources in a region facing heightened tensions, long-term conflict and climate change impacts? This event will explore this question by bringing together and encouraging dialogue between experts and policy makers from the Middle East and North Africa.

This conversation will advance the Water-Energy-Food Security Nexus dialogue initiated at the PSI 2016 conference. The event will be set up as a round table discussion, which will inform participants and attendees of the status of the ongoing MENA sub-regional dialogue; put on track efforts to identify avenues of cooperation on WEF nexus; and explore possibilities of policy development on WEF security on national, regional and sub-regional levels.
