Disclaimer

This blogs is administered by the Stakeholder Forum and does not necessarily represent the positions of the German Federal Government.

About the Nexus Blog

The Nexus Blog aims to create debate and discussion around new approaches to address the critical resource challenges we face, which consider the interconnections within the water, energy and food security nexus.

In order to harness the voices of stakeholders around the nexus approach, Stakeholder Forum is coordinating the Nexus Blog and is looking for a wide range of contributors with experience and expertise in at least one of the three nexus areas to submit an entry to the Nexus Blog.

Your Entry

Your entry could: focus on how a nexus approach can achieve a better understanding of the interlinkages between the three securities; or discuss enabling conditions which facilitate the transition to a greener economy; or identify incentives that can trigger the desired change. It would be particularly beneficial for entries to place an emphasis on the issues around governance and policy coherence, financing mechanisms, as well as practical innovations and technologies.

More information on the significance of the nexus approach and what the Conference hopes to achieve please view the Thematic Profile Conference Document.

Submission

Entries between 500-800 words in length and can be submitted on a rolling basis until 15 November 2011. Please submit all blogs entries to jcornforth[at]stakeholderforum.org
